This page contains the rules of Dynamic Warfare (so far). Two versions are in-progress, Table-Top and Online.

The Concept:Edit

Dynamic Warfare is a table-top style, non-conventional role-playing strategy game. The purpose of the game is to provide a flexible, portable convention with minimal materials. It consists of action styling of a classic table-top RPG. But if you choose to advance through ranks, the game gains the qualities of a simple real time strategy (RTS) game. The game makes use of dice, paper and pencils. While many RPG’s focus on either character or fighting, Dynamic Warfare looks to strategy and tactics, combined with the basis of RPG fights to create a role-playing strategy (RPS). The following setting, factions, weapons, equipment, and armor are based on the Flood-Fire series of short stories. The game is designed to be completely customizable. The story has been used to provide presets, so that the ‘Overlord’ and players do not have to spend as much time creating a general story, while events, specific setting, timeline, and names are left completely open. Follow the stories, change the world, or completely create your own, it’s all Dynamic Warfare.


It is sometime after the year 2127 in which the Flood-Fire wars broke out. (The actual year, and subsequently the equipment, armor, and arms available, will be decided by the ‘Higher Authorities’ or ‘Overlord’). Whether you’re fighting in the Flood-Fire wars, or keeping peace in the aftermath, you must utilize your squad effectively. Teamwork is your greatest advantage.


First you need to pick your faction.

  • USSEC--United States of Sol, Eridani, and Centauri; existent throughout timeline
  • COAST--Confederation Of Assimilated Socialist Territories; nonexistent post-Flood-Fire Wars
  • Arian Terrorist Group--A radical terrorist faction
  • Les Debutants Neo-- highly ideological fanatic faction


Next, pick your class.


Table-top role-playing is played using dice, paper, and pencil. This may be added to using more complex maps, alongside figurines.


Role-playing is usually done in a blog. The person who created the blog will make up the plot of the story. The creator will then write where the story starts and will sometimes make a list of people participating in the role-playing blog. Then he/she will get other users involved. Once the creator of the role-playing blog has enough people for his/her liking, the role-playing will start.

Rules of Role-PlayingEdit

  • You can't control other users characters unless they say so.
  • You have to stay more-or-less along the plot that the creator of the role-plaing blog gave it.
  • You can't kill another users character unless the give you permission to do so.

Blog Poster #1: Then Mark screamed in agony as a piece of shrapnel hit his leg. "Damn it!," exclaimed John, "We have to go get him!"

Blog Poster #2: "No," said General Oompah Loompah," It's too dangerous."
