The Iron Cobra .50 is a semi-automatic, high caliber sporting pistol that was used during the Flood-Fire wars by the Confederation Of Assimilated Socialist Territories. Although primarily used for recreation, the war had a negative effect on the economy of the Confederation; they needed to find an inexpensive weapon. Cheap and easy to produce, the round it fires is extremely powerful and is capable of dropping a man in one shot, as well as piercing light body armor. However, it has high recoil and is extremely inaccurate. Combined with a very short range, this weapon is not very popular among the infantry of the Confederate ground forces. The noise it makes is also very loud, so loud in fact, that it is capable of severely startling fresh enemy recruits. The Iron Cobra is primarily used in close-quarters combat.
