The 1st Elite Battalion, or more commonly known as the Novus Elite, are the elite soldiers of the IUR.

The IUR chooses a select few men from their navies who have shown excellent abilities and decision during fast-paced combat. These men get sent to the Novus Elite, one of the most elite combat battalions in the galaxy.
