The Type 125 is the standard assault rifle for the Confederation Of Assimilated Socialist Territories (alongside the M16A9). The successor of the Type 101 and a descendant of the famous AK-47, the Type 125 was designed and put into service in 2125 and is noted for its ability to withstand numerous climates, which gives it an advantage over many other firearms. It is select-fire, although many troops prefer automatic fire. Even though it is rugged, the size and power of its rounds causes it to have mild recoil; it trades accuracy for power. This weapon is inexpensive to produce, and can be configured to fire standard rounds and Electro-Magnetic Anti-Personnel Rounds via changing bolts.
